102026 The Manganiyar is a group of musicians who have traditionally performed for India’s royalty, but were not exclusively courtesans.

102030 Director’s Biography: Roysten Abel Kerala native Roysten Abel dropped out of university twice – as he found business courses a chore – before joining drama school in the early 90s.
102031 His passion for theatre was honed at high school, where he wrote and directed plays.
102032 A former apprentice of the Royal Shakespeare Company, Abel then went on to found the Indian Shakespeare Company in 1995, which, in a few years, started producing original interpretations of the Bard’s works.
