100012 Choreographer’s Biography: Lin Hwai-Min is one of Taiwan’s most famous choreographers and founder of Taiwan’s renowned Cloud Gate Dance Theatre.
100013 Lin’s background is thoroughly cosmopolitan – having studied Chinese opera in his native homeland, modern dance in New York and classical court dance in Japan and Korea.
100014 He draws on traditional Asian culture to create works with innovative forms and contemporary relevance, which receive critical acclaim wherever they were staged.
